On this day 116 years ago, Charles Lutwidge Dodgson, otherwise known as Lewis Carroll, died at 66 following complications from pneumonia.
Mathematician Dodgson was known in geometrical circles (…triangles?) for his in-depth work with logical mathematics and algebra, amongst others.
However, he’ll be best remembered for his work under his pen-name, publishing the unforgettable ‘Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland’ and her subsequent tales that followed.
Rest In Peace, Lewis Carroll.
